Travelers Can Experience Presidential Accommodations
at Gaylord National Resort
(National Harbor, Md. – January 10, 2017) – With a new president about to take office in the White House, Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center is rolling out its red carpet for travelers interested in their own presidential accommodations during the inauguration and beyond.
The nearly 2,000 room resort offers the Capital Region’s largest amount of hotel suites to choose from including 91 Executive Suites, eight Concept Suites, six Presidential Suites and five Hospitality Suites – totaling 110 suites in all.
The hotel’s most abundant suite, its Executive Suites, range from 850 to 1,000 square feet and include a living room and dining room space, in addition to a large private bath and bedroom. Guests can choose a standard suite or pay a small upcharge for views of the hotel’s 19-story atrium or Potomac riverfront. Executive Suites start at $569.
Gaylord National’s other suites are not so easily bookable. Guests won’t be able to find the hotel’s Presidential, Concept or Hospitality Suites online and must call ahead in order to request them. These exclusive rooms are typically reserved for hotel VIPs and are priced at a higher premium.
The hotel’s Presidential Suites are broken into four-bay or six-bay rooms that range from 1,700 to 2,788 square feet. The suites offer luxurious accommodations with breathtaking views, ornate furnishings, marble or hardwood-floor foyers, kitchens, dining rooms and regal living areas. Staying in a Presidential Suite can start from $2,500 to $3,500.
For travelers looking to stay in a room unlike any other in the world, Gaylord National developed eight Concept Suites that are themed by color. Guests can choose from a Blanc, Cinnamon, Green and Gold, Mocha, Platinum, Purple, Red or Teal suite. In addition to the suite color, each room evokes a unique design style from exotic to elegant to contemporary and nature-inspiring. Two concept suites also offer private outdoor accommodations including their own hot tubs and relaxation lounges. Concept Suites range from 756 to 1,809 square feet and start at $1,500 to $2,000.
Guests interested in hosting private events and receptions can look to book one of the hotel’s five Hospitality Suites. These suites offer 1,400 square feet of space that includes atrium balcony lounges, kitchens, a dining room for eight and optional connecting sleeping rooms. Hospitality Suites start at $1,000.
Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center is the largest, non-gaming hotel and convention center on the East Coast.
