NATIONAL HARBOR, Md., Oct. 26, 2017—When Milt Peterson, principal and chairman of Peterson Companies (one of Washington, D.C.’s oldest family-owned real estate companies), first laid eyes on the 350-acre National Harbor site he recognized its potential even though two prior developers had failed with the site. Since that time, through economic dips and stalls, the Peterson Companies kept focused on the vision.  Spring 2018 marks 10 years since the completion of the first building at National Harbor—Gaylord National Resort.
