More than 30 stores and restaurants participating in festivities

NATIONAL HARBOR, Md., Sept. 26, 2016—National Harbor will host a Halloween celebration, Harbor Halloween, on Sunday, October 23 that includes Trick-or-Treating from noon to 2 p.m., with more than 30 stores and restaurants participating. DARCARS will be handing out bags and candy, and will also have a special activities area near their Trunk-or-Treating on the Plaza.

The movie “Hocus Pocus” will be playing on the Plaza (157 National Plaza, National Harbor, 20745) starting at 12:30 p.m. The day will end with the 2nd Annual National Harbor Chef Pumpkin Carving Contest at 2 p.m. Competitors include three chefs from MGM National Harbor, the integrated resort opening later this year: Executive Chef Jason Johnston, Chef Cole Dickinson from Voltaggio Brothers Steak House, and Chef Jamie Knight from National Market.

“National Harbor’s Halloween activities will provide a great opportunity for families to come out and spend the afternoon,” stated National Harbor’s Vice President of Marketing, Bruce Gudenberg.  Harbor Halloween is sponsored by DARCARS. For more information visit www.NationalHarbor.com.
