Indulge in Chocolate, Wine and Decadent Dishes this February at

As couples, galentines and singles look for ways to celebrate the shortest month of the year, Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center is offering two decadent culinary experiences for lovers of food.


Cupid’s arrow will find its mark at the resort’s Cask and Cocoa experience, combining two of the

world’s most indulgent treats – chocolate and wine. Patrons will learn about and enjoy three curated red wines from different regions of the world paired with expertly selected chocolates. The interactive tasting experience is led by the resort’s sommelier and costs $29.99.* Cask and Cocoa is offered on February 3, 10 and 24 at 1 p.m. in the resort’s lobby bar. Gaylord National’s signature restaurant, Old Hickory Steakhouse, also will join in the celebration with a specially curated menu of delectable dishes. The three-course pre-fixe menu features a choice of a starter dish including roasted Ploch Farms beets and citrus salad, sweet potato soup or local artisan cheeses; followed by an entrée of braised short rib, seared local bass, 21 dry-aged Duroc pork chop or roasted eggplant and spiced black lentils; and topped-off with a choice of passion fruit tiramisu or a chocolate trio. The menu is available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in February, as well as on February 14. The cost is $150 for two and $250 if paired with wines.
