Movies on The Potomac Return to National Harbor in May
Featuring date night movies on Thursdays and family night movies on Sundays through September

NATIONAL HARBOR, Md., April 12, 2023—National Harbor brings back its popular Movies on the Potomac series from May 4 through September 28. Every Thursday (“date night”) at 7 p.m. and Sunday (“family night”) at 6 p.m. guests are invited to gather in front of the Plaza Screen on the waterfront (150 National Plaza, National Harbor) to watch recent releases and classic films. Movie goers are encouraged to bring chairs and order take-out from one of the many restaurants right around the plaza. For the full schedule and complete list of movies, click here. There is no charge to attend.

Thursday night (“date night”) movies include popular releases such as Downton Abbey: A New Era (2022) and classics such as Overboard (1987). Also showing is Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Coming 2 America, King Richard, Black Adam, Sister Act and more. Sundays provide family fun with recently release movies such as Lyle, Lyle Crocodile and Strange World as well classics including Toy Story, Light Year, The Princess Diaries and Incredibles (1 and 2.)

“This year, we’re excited to have some big blockbuster movies,” said Jackie Saunders, AVP of marketing at National Harbor. “Movies on the Potomac is a perfect opportunity to gather on the waterfront on Thursdays and Sundays and enjoy food from one of our many restaurants while you watch a film.”
