Harbor Halloween Returns to National Harbor on October 26

NATIONAL HARBOR, Md., Oct. 1, 2025—Harbor Halloween returns to National Harbor on Sunday, October 26 with a fun lineup of spooktacular fun for the whole family with Halloween activities from 12:30 to 3 p.m.
Trick-or-Treating takes place at the Spirit Park Carousel (137 National Plaza) from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Children in costume get a free ride on The Capital Wheel when accompanied by a paying adult during the Wheel’s daily operating hours. (Limit one free child per one adult admission. Valid for children ages 10 and under.)
A variety of activities will take place on the waterfront (150 National Plaza, National Harbor). The favorite movie, Hocus Pocus, will be shown on the waterfront screen from 1 to 2:30 p.m. At 2:30 p.m., following the movie, multiple National Harbor restaurant chefs, artists, and first responders will compete in a pumpkin carving contest. Spectators are encouraged to watch the many creative pumpkin transformations and vote for their favorites. While the pumpkins are being carved, National Harbor will host a Pet Pawrade at 2:40 p.m. on the Plaza stage. Prizes will be given for best costume, most creative costume and more. Pets may also ride The Capital Wheel for free with a paid adult.
There’s also an opportunity to meet and greet community partners including Prince George’s County Fire/EMS, police, 3-1-1 On The Go! Mobile Unit and other services.
