NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. (July 23, 2026) – While temperatures may be rising outside, Gaylord National Resort is already preparing for a cooler kind of holiday magic. Visitors are invited to step into the whimsical world of ice!™ featuring Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, one of the premiere holiday attractions near Washington, D.C. returning Nov. 14 through Jan. 3, 2027.

The larger-than-life Christmas experience, ice! featuring Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, at Gaylord National Resort, transforms Dr. Seuss's classic tale into a frozen wonderland, complete with hand-carved ice sculptures, vibrantly colored ice, dazzling LED lights and thrilling two-story ice slides.

Kept at a frosty 9 degrees Fahrenheit and crafted from more than 6,000 blocks of ice by a team of 30 master artisans from Harbin, China, the experience brings the Grinch's mountaintop hideaway and the cheerful spirit of Who-ville to life in spectacular fashion.
