Twilight Tours at National Colonial Farm

If you love a good true crime story to keep you up at night vs the make believe monsters the Accokeek Foundation tours at National Colonial Farm after dark will be perfect for the whole family. Tour guides tell some of their favorite real-life and legendary ghost tales from Maryland history. But keep your eyes and ears open…you never know who or what you might encounter!

Bobby McKey’s Dueling Spooky Piano Show 

Looking for an afternoon activity that is fun for the entire family? Want to take your kids to a performance where they’re actually encouraged to wiggle in their seats and dance in the aisles? Kids’ Day at Bobby McKey’s is the perfect outing for the whole family and a great way to inspire your young ones to play a musical instrument.  This Saturday afternoon Bobby McKey’s costume friendly, spooky piano show is two hours of all request live music with a lunch buffet and unlimited fountain drinks.

Harbor Halloween Saturday October 27th

Come one come all to this FREE family friendly event at National Harbor! There will be Trick-or-Treating at 40 participating restaurant and retail for kiddos under 12 to enjoy. Wear a costume, bring a bag, and grab a map from the Amerigroup tent on National Plaza then begin the candy hunt.

While the mini monsters and ghouls are enjoying trick or treating Hocus Pocus will be showing on the Jumbo Screen on The Plaza starting at 1:30pm. Pack some chairs and pick up lunch from Fiorella or Mezeh and secure the perfect seat.

 

Speaking of the Sanderson Sisters, Muse Paintbar at National Harbor will host a Hocus Pocus Lumify paint night on Friday October 25th at 7:30. So if you are looking to exercise your creative side this spot is sure to excite! Muse is featuring Fall/Spooky paintings all weekend long with multiple kid and family friendly classes.

Thrills and shrills

Fly as high as a witch on a broom in The Capital Wheel and see beautiful views of the Potomac and Downtown DC when children ride free in a Halloween costume with a paid adult ticket valid all day on October 27th.

The Carousel which has unlimited rides with the purchase of a child ticket will be featuring a FREE face painter to get every little goblin into the holiday spirit.

Gather around National Harbor’s Plaza stage at 3pm to cheer on chef’s from: Topgolf National Harbor, Gaylord National Convention Center, Granite City, Bond 45, Fiorella, and the Sunset Room as they give their culinary twist on the traditional Jack-O-Lantern.
