For your Safety:

The health and safety of our guests, shoppers, residents, and employees is very important to us. Based on Prince George’s County’s executive order, the countywide stay-at-home restrictions has been extended through June 1. Therefore, National Harbor is open to residents, hotel guests, essential employees, and those picking up to-go orders from restaurants.

Phase 1 of Prince George's County, allows stores to be open for curbside pick-up only. Visit nationalharbor.com/onlineshopping to see how you can shop online and pick up your purchase at the store starting June 1.

Consistent with CDC recommendations, we are intensifying our usual, thorough cleaning procedures around floors, doors, and other public areas using sanitizing and disinfectant formulas recommended by the CDC, with cleaning/sanitizing taking place throughout the day. The iconic Woodrow Wilson Bridge Trail crosses the Potomac River and stretches to Alexandria and Mt. Vernon. The trailhead is located in the Tanger Outlets parking lot and open to the community. Just follow signs for the TangerMiles trailhead when you enter the lot and have fun on your workout! The Waterfront District National Harbor Plaza is closed for recreational use.

Transportation and Parking:

There are a limited number of designated meters in front of restaurants that may be used for a maximum of 10 minutes for pick-up.

When you leave, insert your parking ticket into the machine by the gate and then insert your voucher. If you parked for less than four hours, the arm will then rise. If you stay longer, you’ll have to pay full price of $20 per day. Your parking ticket is valid for one time during June 1 - December 30, 2020.

Yes, the stations by the carousel and next to Residence Inn are open.

Masks:

Yes.

The CDC highly recommends that for everyone’s safety, people wear a mask when they are out in a public space.

Yes, Maryland law requires a mask to be worn while inside a restaurant or store.

Restaurants:

Several restaurants in the Waterfront District are opened for to-go only. There is no dining inside or on the patios of the restaurants at this time.

There are designated meters in front of restaurants that may be used for a maximum of 10 minutes for pick-up.

At this time due to the stay at home mandate, all pick-up orders should be taken home.

Hotels:

Gaylord National and MGM National Harbor are closed, but the other hotels are open. Visit nationalharbor.com/stay for a list of hotels. Call the hotels for special healthcare workers and first responders offers.

Capital Wheel, Events, and Entertainment:

At this time under Prince George's County executive orders, the Capital Wheel is closed. However, it still has it's nightly light show.

The tickets are valid June 1 – December 30, 2020 or whenever the Capital Wheel is allowed to reopen.

The beach and the Awakening are closed at this time.

Right now, the One World Lantern Festival is scheduled for August 1. However, it is subject to change. Please visit nationalharbor.com/events for any updates.

The Capital Wheel will implement Best Practices for Employee and Guest Safety that include:
- Physical distancing
- Employee use of protective gear
- Increased sanitation frequency
- Capacity limits
Examples Include:
• Dedicated Clean Team visible and active during all hours of operations
• UV light sweeps of gondolas after each use
• Handless sanitizer stations & portable sink installed
• Sanitizer wipe stations for guest access
• Hourly (minimally) sanitization of hard surfaces
• Pre-shift health screen including no touch temperature check
• Masks for team members
• Employee temperature screening

Shopping:

Essential businesses like CVS, Potomac Gourmet Market, The UPS Store, and Harbor Dry Cleaners are open, but the others are closed.

Based on Prince George's County's executive orders, Tanger Outlets is closed temporarily. Stay tuned for more details on when they will be welcoming guests back.
