Yes. The Prince George's County Executive has mandated masks to be worn inside and outside at all public places.

Yes, the Harbor Trail into the Waterfront District is open! We also have two Capital Bike Share stations, stairs to climb, and lots of other ways to stretch your legs. Additionally, The iconic Woodrow Wilson Bridge Trail crosses the Potomac River and stretches to Alexandria and Mt. Vernon. The trailhead is located in the Tanger Outlets parking lot and open to the community. Just follow signs for the TangerMiles trailhead when you enter the lot and have fun on your workout! Please remember that Maryland does require face coverings for anyone over the age of 5 in all outdoor public spaces when social distancing cannot be achieved.

Consistent with CDC recommendations, we are intensifying our usual, thorough cleaning procedures around floors, doors, and other public areas using sanitizing and disinfectant formulas recommended by the CDC, with cleaning/sanitizing taking place throughout the day. Hours

Waterfront District at National Harbor's common areas close nightly at 10pm. Several of our restaurants are open later.

Prince George's County has an ordinance that nobody under the age of 18 is allowed to be unaccompanied by an adult after 5pm in the Waterfront District.

Transportation and Parking:

There are several designated 15 minute pick-up spots throughout the Waterfront District. There is also a 15 minute grace period in the garages.

Those parking tickets are now expired. However, the Capital Wheel has several promotions that you might be interested in. Visit thecapitalwheel.com to learn more.

Yes, the stations by the Carousel and next to Residence Inn are open.

At this time, the Ciruclator is not running.

Masks:

Yes.

Face coverings are required outdoors in any public location in Prince George’s County. Face coverings are still required for all indoor public locations.

Yes, Maryland law requires a mask to be worn while inside a restaurant or store.

Restaurants:

Restaurants in the Waterfront District are opened for patio seating at 50% capacity. Inside dining is allowed at 25% this time. Carry out and delivery are also options

Yes, you may eat on the benches. There are picnic tables around the Waterfront District.

Hotels:

All of National Harbor's hotels are open and ready to welcome you with the exception of the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center which remains closed. Visit nationalharbor.com/stay for a list of hotels. Call the hotels for special healthcare workers and first responders offers.

Capital Wheel, Events, and Entertainment:

The Capital Wheel is open Monday - Thursday from 4pm - 8pm and Friday - Sunday Noon to 8pm.

The summer 2020 promotion has expired.

The beach and the Awakening are closed at this time.

The Carousel is closed for the season.

Shopping:

Prince George's County entered Phase 2 on June 15 which allows all retail to open with limited capacity. If you have to wait outside, please keep 6 feet of distance between you and the next person.
