National Harbor Kids Day: Historical Fun with George Washington's Mount Vernon

Join us for a morning of entertainment at National Harbor’s Kids Day. Featuring historical fun with George Washington's Mount Vernon.

• Foundations of American Music is an interactive music presentation highlighting the diverse musical traditions of 18th century America. From the colonial battlefield to George Washington's own parlor, learn about the music that shaped the America's ear. The program ends with a chance for participants to join in and make music together.
• Revolutionary War Flags: Discover some of the different flags used during the American Revolution and how those flags connect to flags that are still used today. Participants will have the opportunity to create a flag of their very own.
