Join us for a morning of fun at National Harbor’s Kids Day brought to you by M-NCPPC!
Grab the kiddos and head to National Harbor for Kids Day every Tuesday at 10:30am from June - August. Enjoy the summer sunshine and a rotation of family friendly activities on the Plaza.

June Schedule
June 3: Join the Prince George’s County Memorial Library System for a morning of interactive story time, singing, dancing and more.
June 10: Join WHUT PBS Kids for a dive into Nature and all of its amazing wonders. Let's take a nature walk with a scavenger hunt around the Harbor to see what we can find.
June 17: Meet and greet with the Prince George's County Police Department and Prince George's County Fire/EMS Department.
June 24: Join WHUT PBS Kids: Technology is all around us! In our rapidly evolving digital world, having a solid foundation in computational thinking is becoming increasingly important. These tech activities will teach your child computational thinking through fun data analysis and software creation!
July Schedule
July 1: UniverSoul Circus is back at National Harbor. Join us for a special free Kids Day show on the Plaza featuring some of your favorite acts from the circus. There will be lots of dancing, laughing and oohs on this day.
July 8: Join WHUT PBS Kids: Weather Hunters for a day! Grab your favorite little forecaster and prepare to step into the world of meteorology! We’re celebrating science through understanding weather and the many fields you can enter with your forecasting fandom!
July 15: Join the M-NCPPC, Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George’s County for a dino-mite day of discovery and active fun across the Plaza!
- Dinosaur Park Discovery Day (Natural and Historic Resources Division): Step into
prehistoric times with real fossils, fun facts about dinosaurs, and hands-on
exploration from our very own Dinosaur Park team. Take home cool activity
sheets and become a junior paleontologist! - Athletics Takeover (Aquatics and Athletics Facilities Division): Explore
a variety of our specialty sports offerings—from aquatics and golf to tennis
and fitness. Learn what’s available at our local community centers and
facilities and get inspired to play more, move more, and live more!
July 22:
- Work It Out Wombats! with WHUT PBS Kids: Dive into teamwork and problem-solving with games and activities featuring the new PBS KIDS series.
- Sankofa Mobile Museum: M-NCPPC, Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George's County mobile museum opens the eyes of individuals of all ages to history through immersive virtual and augmented reality exhibits. Discover untold stories of resilience, activism, and community that help shape Prince George’s County and beyond.
- Dinosaur Park (NHRD): Unearth dinosaur discoveries again with more fossil fun and educational exploration at M-NCPPC’s very own Dinosaur Park.
July 29: Be amazed by a special Teen Ensemble performance brought to you by M-NCPPC, Department of Parks and Recreation in the Capital Canopy.

August Schedule
August 5: Meet WHUT PBS Kids, Muse Paintbar and Prince George's Arts and Humanities' Council's Arts'tination at the Harbor for an artsy morning with activities that spark imagination and curiosity.
August 12: Join the M-NCPPC, Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George’s County for a vibrant day of family fun, learning, and creativity! All activities are free and designed to engage individuals of all ages.
- STEAM Activities (Northern Recreation and Leisure Services): Spark curiosity with hands-on science, technology, engineering, arts, and math activities.
- Interactive Games & Activities (Special Programs Division): Enjoy high-energy games and engaging experiences perfect for kids, teens, and families.
- Arts on the Roll – Mobile Art Truck: A M-NCPPC, Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George's County mobile art truck is coming to the National Harbor! Creative workshops that inspire imagination through visual arts.

August 19: Dive into money math by learning the ABC’s of financial literacy with WHUT PBS Kids!!
- Today we’ll celebrate WHUT’s newest short series, FINANCIAL LETTERACY. These creative music videos teach various financial terms using the letters of the alphabet!
- Arts on the Roll: A M-NCPPC, Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George's County mobile art truck is coming to the National Harbor! Creative workshops that inspire imagination through visual arts.
