We're working for your safety

The health and safety of our visitors, shoppers, residents, employees, and guests is very important to us. We are monitoring the current situation of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and taking preventive actions. We want you to feel confident when visiting National Harbor. We recognize that places where people gather, need to be clean, welcoming, and safe.

Here are the steps we are taking:

  • Consistent with CDC recommendations, we are intensifying our usual, thorough cleaning procedures around floors, doors, vertical transportation and other public areas using sanitizing and disinfectant formulas recommended by the CDC, with cleaning/sanitizing taking place throughout the day.
  • Using sanitizing and disinfectant formulas recommended by the CDC
  • Antibacterial soap dispensers in public restrooms
  • Using sanitizing wipes on public equipment, as well as in stores
  • Cleaning and disinfecting entrance door handles, handrails and restrooms several times each day
  • Sanitizing play areas twice daily
  • Ensuring all cleaning staff wear gloves at all times
  • We are urging all employees and contractors who are ill to stay home
  • We are assessing all on-site special events and will communicate any updates or postponements, as necessary
