American Market
Saturdays, Memorial Day through Mid October from 9am to 2pm

We invite you to experience the American Market – the high end farmers market at National Harbor. Stroll along the outdoor promenade and choose from a vast offering of fine goods and specialty foods from the area’s premier sellers including handmade crafts, floral, produce, and jewelry.

The American Market is located on Lot N (next to Hampton Inn & across from Gaylord National Resort).

Summer Concert Series

There’s nothing like an outdoor concert to set the mood. Come catch the musical waves on the waterfront at National Harbor. Whether you are winding down from a busy day or gearing up for an exciting evening, the jazz, blues and Top 40 tunes will be music to your ears. Don’t miss the sweet sounds of summer at National Harbor. Join us and celebrate the sunset.
Every Friday evening from 7pm until 9pm this free public event will feature the best national, regional and local musical entertainment.

NO Alcoholic Beverages Allowed
NO Glass Containers Allowed
Coolers will Be Inspected
Some seating is provided. However, guests are allowed to bring their own chairs as well. We request guests bring nylon folding chairs.

Foster's Lobster Clambake at National Harbor
The event will take place each Thursday evening, July 10 through August 28. The schedule for the evening will be as follows:
6:30 Water taxi departs Alexandria
6:50 Water taxi arrives at National Harbor
7:00 Lobster Clambake begins (under the big tent)
9:00 Water taxi departs National Harbor
9:20 Water taxi arrives in Alexandria
Pricing:
$57.00 per person/Adult
$24.00 per person/Child
Price includes taxes, gratuity, and water taxi ticket.
Beverages are not included.
Beer, wine, soda, and water can be purchased at the event.

RESERVATIONS WILL BE REQUIRED. Reservations can be made by purchasing tickets at our website, www.potomacriverboatco.com, or at our ticket booths in Alexandria,Georgetown, or National Harbor. Reservations must be made by 7:00 p.m. the night before the event (for example, 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9 for the Thursday, July 10 event). There will be no refunds.

Das Best Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest comes to National Harbor! Families will be able to enjoy traditional festivities including beer gardens, cooking demonstrations, a German Stage featuring Oompah Bands and German dancers. A central stage will also feature local and regional popular musical acts.
This event will also include the only Baconfest in North America. The Baconfest will feature various local chefs performing cooking demonstrations and a national bacon recipe contest with just that…bacon!
This ticketed event will quickly become a fall tradition in Prince George’s County.

Cirque du Soleil KOOZA

Cirque du Soleil will return to the Washington DC area at a new location with its latest touring production KOOZA, set to open on Thursday, October 30, 2008. KOOZA will perform at The Plateau at National Harbor under the trademark blue-and-yellow Grand Chapiteau (big top) for a limited engagement. Tickets are on sale now.
KOOZA is a return to the origins of Cirque du Soleil that combines two circus traditions – acrobatic performance and the art of clowning. The show highlights the physical demands of human performance in all its splendor and fragility, presented in a colorful mélange that emphasizes bold slapstick humor.

· Tuesdays thru Thursdays at 8:00pm
· Fridays and Saturdays at 4:00pm and 8:00pm
· Sundays at 1:00pm and 5:00pm
· No performances on Mondays
Ticket Prices
· Adults: $55 to $125

NOTE: Courtesy shuttles will be available to transport guests prior, during and

National Harbor Tree Lighting Celebration & Fireworks
Celebrate the arrival of the holidays and creation of a new tradition at National Harbor.
This free public event will take place the day after Thanksgiving starting with the ceremonial lighting of the National Harbor Holiday Tree, extended Candle Light Processional Concert and culminating with a ten minute fireworks show exploding over the Potomac River – the literal star to our tree!

Voices of National Harbor
This mainstay of National Harbor’s holiday programming is soon to become a regional tradition. Featuring 120 person regional multicultural choir, the Voices of National Harbor will perform a free one hour concert every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening between Thanksgiving and the end of the year.
Choir members will be hand picked from the best singers in the region and led by Oxon Hill High School Choir Director, Rev. Dr. Emory Andrews. In addition, this heart warming performance will be highlighted by inviting 2 regional high school choirs to be guest performers each evening.

Shows will be 1 hour, starting at 7:00 pm.
